I came into Yoga and Tai Chi with Lunar Lotus having had no previous experience with this type of exercise. I was an out of shape 63 year old women. I knew that if I did not make some changes in my physical health I was going to continue to decline health wise. Needless to say, I was a little nervous not knowing what I could actually do.

Ash was great in making me realize that whatever I could do was alright. No judgement or pressure. After regularly going to classes for 6 months, I can say that my body has become healthier. I am amazed by the ways my flexibility has improved. I went from touching my knees in a forward fold to touching the ground. My balance has improved also.

I am always thinking, I can’t do that move or I’m so awkward, then Ash will demonstrate the move over and over until I am less awkward and more confident. He is so good about explaining each move and giving tips to help you improve your movement.

It seems to me that Ash has trained rigorously and studied the arts he is teaching to become a supportive and knowledgeable role model and teacher. He has been instrumental in bringing me into a healthier mind and body space.
